We read every message and reply as soon as we can. Because of the volume of emails, we ask for a little patience: we give priority to data corrections, since they help the whole community.
Did you spot incorrect or outdated information?
Nicaragua's consular network in the U.S. has changed a great deal: many consulates closed in 2024, and today only Washington, D.C., Miami and New York remain open. That means hours, addresses and phone numbers can become outdated quickly. If you've noticed something that doesn't match reality, help us fix it. To verify it quickly, please include in your message:
- The page where you saw the error (for example, consuldenicaragua.com/en/miami).
- The incorrect information exactly as it appears now.
- The correct information and, if possible, the official source where you confirmed it.
We check every report against the official source before updating. Thank you for helping us keep the information reliable!
For official procedures and appointments
Remember that we do not handle appointments or procedures: we are an independent informational directory. Official matters are always handled through the channels of the Nicaraguan State:
- Online consular appointments: citas.cancilleria.gob.ni.
- Information line in Nicaragua: 2244-8008.
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Foreign Ministry): cancilleria.gob.ni.
- Remember that in the U.S. only the Washington, D.C., Miami and New York consulates are still operating; many procedures can now be done online.
- In an emergency (detention, accident or death), contact the active consulate for your area directly.
